Greece is a country of myths and nothing suits more listening to story than a great local meal with a glass of traditional local alcoholic drink - ouzo, in a tavern overviewing the sea. The old and new layers of history and architecture are smoothly coming together in Athens. Island hopping gets busy in the summer, especially the iconic Santorini, but there are still other places you can enjoy without too much hussle, as the old temples from the Macedonia region with its Byzantine churches hidden in the mountains. You can also just rent a yacht and spend the rest of the summer on board, overviewing the Mediterranean and only go to the shore for enjoying a good meal. Greece is all about the good life.
