A former center of slaves' trade and the birthplace of the voodoo culture, Benin is a preferred destination for those interested in ecotourism. Besided the slavery route history, it also hosts the biggest West Africa and wildlife-diverse Parc National de la Peruljan with outstanding animal residents, such as elephants or cheetah.
