o At 10:45 am starts festive procession throughout the streets of the Old City to the Christmas market ‘Striezelmarkt’

• December 31st, New Year, tourists celebrate at concerts, restaurants and night clubs. Party admission fee starts at ~€120. Beginning is usually at 8 pm – ending at 4 am.

At midnight, everyone goes out to admire the fireworks on the main streets of the cities.

Tourists in December walk to fairs and are busy with the Christmas shopping. Most travelers go to the ski resorts and combine leisure time with excursions to the local attractions. Photographer lovers visit the parks and castles of the country for the sake of unique shots. Some admire the swans on the river Oder, in Reitwein.
